India won the toss and chose to bat first as the weather remained nice and sunny in the minutes leading up to the start of the match. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill have opened for India, Rohit eventually became the second fastest batter to 10,000 ODI runs in typical fashion, hitting a six over the bowler's head with a sumptuous shot.
