For several reasons, determining the best boxers in the world of all time is a rather subjective thing. Firstly, it is difficult to compare the level of a boxer in isolation from time to time. One can only guess who would have won the duel between Bernard Hopkins and Saul Alvarez at their best.
Secondly, ranking experts are often nostalgic and put boxing stars of their youth at the top of the rankings.
